    Sumatra, Indonesia Specialty Coffee (16oz)

    $23.00
This specialty grade coffee is from the volcanic slopes located on the Island of Sumatra which is one of many islands making up the Sunda Islands of Western Indonesia. These beans went through the Kerinci Honey process, which sends the coffee cherry through the cleaning action, leaving the “honey” layer intact. This results in a natural sweetness in your roast. The Mt. Kerinci area is a growing coffee farming community that supports millions of Indonesians. When drinking this sweet cup of Sumatran coffee, know that you are supporting a special process that Kerinci farmers have uniquely mastered.

This specialty grade coffee is from Xiang Khoang Province in the northeast region of Laos. Joshua was able to visit the farmers who grew and harvested this coffee in 2019. He met the coffee buyers from Muong Xieng (MX) Coffee company which is a Lao company who’s owners and staff work to create a fair market for mountain farmers. This coffee was processed with a wash process and has been freshly roasted by a specialty coffee roaster in Oklahoma. The result is a smooth cup of coffee from northeastern Lao where the Plain of Jars is located.
